current 2026 L.A. Times Food Bowl, there’s an important idea here that I think fits what you’re trying to build with GBC Club.
What Food Bowl is doing
It’s basically a festival built around one theme, but they add multiple experiences:
- 40+ restaurants each night
- 20+ beverage vendors
- Chef demonstrations
- Book signings
- DJs and live entertainment
- A major live announcement/reveal
- GA and VIP experiences
- Two nights with different themes/vibes
- Sponsors and exhibitors
- Restaurants and brands participating as partners
And they aren’t just selling admission. They’re giving restaurants, sponsors, exhibitors and media a reason to participate too.
